THE ‘PAPERCLIP’ COLLECTION

This is one of my favourite chain styles, based on the structure of a cable chain, and it is very on-trend at the moment, despite its roots being from World War 2 where the paper clip became a symbol for unity and solidarity yet also resistance and rebellion. Who doesn’t have a little rebellious streak within them?

Whilst this chain is striking on its own, it also showcases any pendant or can look great layered with other chains.

These chains are available either on their own or with one of my charms (see my photographs or be creative and commission your own, perhaps with silver-mounted sea glass). Please note that charms are not sold individually, just as part of the piece, however, if you have previously bought a pendant from me the charms may be interchangeable as they are hung from the paperclip chain by a split ring. The charms hang best from the second link up and gives a lovely plunging droplet shape to the necklace, perfect for a V neckline.

THE ‘INSPIRATION’ COLLECTION

I have called this collection ‘Inspiration’. Like many of you, I was so inspired by the determination, strength and passion of the athletes and coaches who worked so hard as a team to help them qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games. I have so much respect and admiration for the athletes and their commitment to their sports. What an awesome achievement!

My ‘inspiration’ collection can be worn as a reminder that if we work hard towards a goal, with the help of others around us, we can overcome challenges, make improvements and become champions in our own chosen field. Go for it!

This initial idea further inspired me to take this idea further and create earrings and pendants to signify numbers to the wearer. Perhaps they represent the number of children or grandchildren that the wearer is lucky enough to have, or some other achievement or goal?

Each piece is handmade in sterling silver and made to order.

THE ‘OAK LEAF’ COLLECTION

The inspiration behind this collection is my lovely friend who is beginning an exciting new career-path helping families connect with nature and to appreciate our precious planet. Her daughter wanted to commission a piece of jewellery to celebrate this and together we decided that, as the mighty oak represents strength, resilience and potential growth, this was just perfect.

Each piece is handmade and available as a single recycled silver oak leaf, or accompanied by a smaller copper oak leaf, which together also symbolise care and protection.

THE ‘COPPER HEART’ COLLECTION

I just love how copper and silver complement one another, making the perfect pairing. A solid copper heart is said to be a talisman of great strength at our core, so with my love of hearts this had to become my new collection.

THE SILVER ‘SPAGHETTO’ COLLECTION

Inspired when making fresh spaghetti, this collection began as an experiment with a sterling silver wrapped ring and it soon became obvious that complimentary pieces would be perfect. After a few different designs I came up with a spaghetto (the name for a single strand of spaghetti in case you’re wondering) twist which would work for bangles, earrings and a necklace. Each item is handmade in my North Yorkshire studio.

This design in recycled sterling silver is a little different, yet still simple and elegant and ready to be dressed up or down for everyday or an occasion.

THE ‘STAR’ COLLECTION

Any time of year is perfect to wear stars and feel a million dollars. This collection is simple yet striking, looking stunning on its own or stacked with other jewellery. Each sterling silver piece is available textured if you’d prefer it to catch the party lights.

THE ‘Dotty about You’ collection.

If, like me, you are dotty about hearts, silver or an understated romantic then this simple, elegant collection is for you. You may be showing your love for someone or something that you are ‘dotty’ about or just love a simple heart design. This sterling silver collection can be worn together, layered with other silver jewellery or as individual pieces.

Each piece is hand made by me with love and care.

THe ‘summer’ Navajo-inspired collection

This collection is inspired by my visit to the Navajo Nation in the USA where dried juniper berries along with turquoise and white semi-precious howlite are traditionally used to create handmade jewellery.

The juniper berries, also known as ‘ghost beads’ symbolise a connection between earth, tree, animal and man which the Navajo believe creates a spiritual harmony, tranquility and peace. They are used traditionally to ward off evil spirits and keep the wearer from having bad dreams.

The howlite is believed to bring patience and perspective. It is seen as a calming stone which eliminates rage, pain and stress.

Paired with the peace created by the ghost beads, surely these are perfect for a holiday piece of jewellery!
